YOUR Air Force One flies 1000 feet over GROUND ZERO for a PROMOTIONAL PHOTO OP and you had NO IDEA this was happening while people were running for their lives and dialing 911 as memories of 9/11 renter their minds....
Really? Not sure why I don't believe you.
Our economy is THRIVING right now so I guess TAXPAYERS DON"T MIND PAYING the $328,835 for a picture. No I'm pretty sure they would have liked to put food on the table for their children and pay their mortgage.
It has only been 100 days since he has been in office and before he is done I have a feeling it's going to get scary, really scary.
Yeah, wow. I saw the pictures on Fox News, but the tv's were muted so I didn't hear what what was going on and of course the first thing that popped into my head was 9/11. I mean really, did not one single person on that plane or who knew what this "promotional" shot was all about think to themselves, "hmmm, this might not be such a good idea."
yeah, it was CRAZY! i work on the 26th floor of a building in times square...though we weren't evacuated, we were getting calls from clients that were evacuating and wanting us to check up on what the heck was going on. all of this before the first headlines broke. good to know that the emergency response plans, at least, are in place!!!
Yep...only going to get worse, I'm sure. They are using a poor guy as a scape goat. You can't tell me that you just borrow air force one and some fighter jets for a little flight without someone in the White House knowing about it.
Oh geez. I agree it was a really stupid move, but to think that the president knows about every single marketing ploy going on in the gov't is a bit much. I have always firmly believed the crap rolls up hill so Obama should take full responsibility for it. Also, the bonehead who planned it should be fired, asap. But it still doesn't mean that the commander in chief is looped in on every single thing done by the military. Sorta like that 'Mission Accomplished' banner hanging behind Bush on that aircraft carrier. Guaranteed Bush was never consulted about it and yet he was lambasted for it endlessly. Sometimes the people who work for the president do stupid things.
Photo Shoot over New York City - just crazy and with a price tag of over $300,000. I can think off many other ways the government could of used that money more wisely without giving New Yorkers a heart attack. And who needs those photos anyway?!!
Can you just imagine what would have happened if Bush was in office? The Press and Democrats would have had a field day with it.

I have to agree with you. It's a very sad thing that this is what we are facing today.
